Terms of service

These terms apply when you use vitaseal.co.za or buy from VitaSeal. By placing an order, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

1. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. Your order is accepted when we confirm payment. If we cannot fulfil an order, for example because an item is out of stock or a price was clearly wrong, we will tell you and give you a full refund.

2. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free within South Africa. Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers.

3. Delivery

Delivery times and what happens if a parcel is late, lost or damaged are explained in our Shipping policy.

4. Returns, refunds and warranty

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and every VitaSeal device has a 1-year warranty. The details are in our Refund policy.

5. Using VitaSeal products

Please follow the instructions that come with your device. Vacuum sealing slows spoilage but does not replace refrigeration or freezing. Always store perishable food at the correct temperature and use your judgement about food safety. The freshness times we describe are typical results and can vary with the food and how it is stored.

6. Product information

We try to describe our products accurately. Colours and sizes in photos may vary slightly. If a product you receive is not as described, you can return it under our Refund policy.

7. Our website

Please don't misuse our website, for example by attempting to hack it, scraping it, or using it for anything unlawful. We may update the site, products and prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

8. Liability

We are responsible for the products we sell as required by South African law. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as food spoiling because a product was used in a way not described in our instructions.
